Terrance Bowman is the Managing Director of Adult Programs and Employer Partnerships at Code Differently. In this role, he is driving innovation in workforce development, staffing, and technology solutions that will help transform the tech industry and our communities for generations to come. Prior to Code Differently, Terrance was the Director of Campus Recruiting for Capital One. He was responsible for setting the strategic direction for the campus diversity recruiting function across the enterprise.

His team focused on attracting top talent from HBCUs and HSIs, national partnerships and conferences, as well as through early engagement programs and events. Prior to Capital One, Terrance was the Head of Global Technology Diversity Equity, and Inclusion at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and was responsible for developing strategies to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent across the firm’s technology organization.

He also led efforts to drive an inclusive culture for over 50,000 tech employees globally. He held other leadership roles across JPMC’s recruiting, infrastructure engineering, digital technology, and program management functions. Before joining JPMC, he was a Software Engineering Manager at Accenture. Terrance is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), Certified Scrum Master, and a graduate of the University of Delaware (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering) and Widener University (MBA).

Terrance is a native of Chester, PA and resides in New Castle, DE with his wife and two sons. Terrance enjoys cooking, live music, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and close friends.
